Credentials of JUDY EGGLESTON
She is the wife of a kind, loving husband, mother of three grown children and grandmother to two adorable girls. She is very committed to First Baptist Church, F.B.C. Women of Worth ministry, Making A Difference ministry, and the Eggleston Benevolent Fund (supports special needs). She is a Colorado licensed child care provider and active in Broomfield Child Care Association.
She is a past President for Colorado Association of Family Child Care, a past President Boulder County Family Child Care Association, Founder & twice past President Broomfield Child Care Association and the current BCCA Newsletter editor. She is currently or has been a conference trainer for NAFCC, CAEYC, CAFCC, BCFCCA, Broomfield Summit and BCCA. During 1996-1998 I served on Gov. Romer’s committees “The Summit of the 12”, “Bright Beginnings”, “Immunize Every Child By 2000”, “The Colorado Dept. of Early Childhood Education” and represented CAFCC at “Educare”. She taught K-5, 1st & 2nd Grades for 4 years prior to beginning her child care business. She has operated her child care business, Creative Preschool & Child Care Home, since 1978. From 1978-1980 the business was in Winston-Salem North Carolina., 1980-1984 in Broomfield, Colorado, 1984-1987 in Lynchburg, Virginia and 1987-now in Broomfield, Colorado. She has completed the required training for these specialty licenses, "Infant/Toddler" and "Three Under Two years/Three Over Two years", and the "Experienced Provider" offered in the State of Colorado. She has been the recipient of training sponsored by IBM, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Traveler’s Insurance offered by Work & Family Resource Center and Children’s Services. She is the founder & owner of Child Care Educational Opportunities which began offering training in 1992. CEO teaches early childhood workshops, child care business classes, Medication Administration, Universal Precautions and American Red Cross CPR/First Aid. Through Childcare Educational Opportunities she has the opportunity to share knowledge gain through years of working with children and their parents. She hopes the classes offered by CEO will improve childcare settings and provide a convenient method of learning for busy childcare providers.
